How much time should we dwell on the things that impact our life, that keep us on a perpetual roller coaster ride? When should we disembark and move away from the object making us feel so many exhilarating highs and an equal amount of teary-eyed lows?
Since publishing my book, The Rose & Prose, on the highs and lows of virtual love, I have experienced such a ride. When it comes to the internet, it doesn’t matter how intelligent you are, it’s your heart and soul that wants to lean in the direction of your object of desire. And, it doesn’t matter if it’s a person you have never physically met.
A Virtual relationship requires a lot of imagination from both parties because everything is virtual, so it’s important to feel each other’s emotions, sentiments, and even touch, all imaginatively and intuitively.
A Virtual relationship can sometimes be even deeper than a real one because both parties are inclined to be more open and honest with each other as their identities can remain hidden, and they can be more upfront and less reserved to be themselves.
A Virtual relationship can very well involve very deep emotions and feelings that can also be expressed via online interactions, something that was not possible earlier, before the internet era.
Virtual relationships are expected to grow more and more with time, and with the advancements in technology, it will become even easier for people to get closer to each other in a virtual environment, with the invention of holograms and other new emerging technologies.
Stay gracious.
