A JOURNEY TOO FAR TO WALK…

"It's true, the world is a chaotic place so we minimize taking risks. Technology has taught us one thing...if we do life digitally, it is easier to protect it. But where's the feeling in all that?"
“The bittersweet reality is that many of us may have experienced an intense online relationship that had massive emotional weight but it never successfully transitioned into the physical world.”
”The following is a deeply poignant, poetic reflection on modern, digitally-mediated connection…”
We may feel what others project, But our world is too big for regret. Still the game plays over and over, Like a broken record before her.
The reach that was never enough, Was filled with all the right stuff. A match that might have been made, Just languished in a digital arcade.
For reasons we may never know, Stayed captive in a big online show. We wrote songs, but we never talked, For our journey was too far to walk.
In the land of the brave and the free, Love and life are without guarantees. A force that naturally overwhelms, Stays confined to protect the realm.
Thoughts are precious commodities, They carry us through our realities. An experience that felt oh so real, Remains adrift but digitally sealed.
We took the ride linked in space, But we will remember the face. It’s sad that it’s come to all this,  When reality might have been bliss.
Stay gracious,
Linda Joy Mattson, Author, Poet

HANG IN THERE, BABY!...

Today's pain will gradually pass. All we can do is keep going, one day at a time, and never give up!"
